In 2021, a revised vision was developed for the complete redevelopment of the two-hectare Broadwalk Shopping Centre site in Knowle, South Bristol. Building on an earlier consent for 420 homes, the enhanced scheme proposed a comprehensive transformation of this town centre location.

The masterplan prioritised improved pedestrian connections to Redcatch Park and introduced a series of residential mansion blocks alongside new shops and community facilities. The proposal included up to 850 new homes, set within high-quality public spaces and landscaping that significantly enhanced biodiversity, supported carbon reduction, and created a vibrant, sustainable neighbourhood.

The scheme provided a diverse mix of housing tenures—private ownership, Affordable Housing, Later Living, and Build to Rent—alongside vital community infrastructure including a new library, dental surgery, and a multi-use community hub. Planning consent was granted in 2023.
